Overview

Nestled on Jl. Cideng Barat in the heart of Central Jakarta, Moving Mountains Coffee Club stands out as a refined sanctuary for coffee enthusiasts and casual sippers alike. This coffee shop offers a thoughtfully curated menu featuring staples like Cappuccino, Mocha Ice, Cold Brew, and the uniquely crafted Peach Fuzz. Each drink seems designed to tell a story, blending familiar flavors with creative twists that invite repeated visits.

The atmosphere here caters well to focused work sessions or quiet moments away from the city's bustle. As shared by a regular, the space fosters concentration without distractions, making it ideal for professionals seeking a calm environment combined with quality coffee. The interior is cozy but unpretentious, allowing the craftsmanship behind each cup to shine through.

Baristas at Moving Mountains demonstrate skill and precision, harnessing equipment such as VBM Lollo and Mahlkönig EK43 grinders to ensure each espresso shot manifests the desired depth and clarity. The use of seasonal beans offers distinct nuances and keeps the menu feel dynamic and fresh.

Patrons highlight the signature drinks that elevate the experience here. The Tahitian Vanilla Latte perfectly balances smooth espresso with infused cane sugar—a subtle sweetness that enhances without overpowering. Meanwhile, the Blueberry Ganache offers a delightful marriage of light coffee notes and creamy richness, creating an unexpected but harmonious sweetness.

For those passionate about bolder combinations, the Mulled drink stands out as a flavor revelation. Its infusion of espresso with barley tea and a hint of grape delivers a complex yet refreshing palate. The adventurous can try the Tiramissu-inspired beverage, blending espresso, milk, chocolate, and zabaglione into a creamy, layered delight that honors its namesake.

Beyond coffee, the well-crafted medleys like Peach Fuzz, inspired by jasmine and citrus, provide a refreshing nod to local flavors. The Chocolate & Sea Salt drink likewise strikes a delicate balance between sweetness and savory notes using Himalayan pink salt and palm sugar, demonstrating the café's attention to nuance.

Despite being somewhat off the beaten path, Moving Mountains Coffee Club is affectionately regarded as a hidden gem in Cideng. Its quiet afternoons and welcoming service create a space where discovering new seasonal creations feels like a shared secret among dedicated visitors. Whether you're an espresso aficionado or simply in search of a serene spot to unwind, this coffee club invites exploration and promises a satisfying journey through both classic and imaginative brews.

Hidden gem in Cideng! Very recommended for coffee lovers! The coffee is great, service is excellent and the price is very affordable. When I came, there’s no one there even though it’s in the afternoon, so I wish more people would come here :)

A small and almost hidden gem coffee shop in the central Jakarta. Simple, y2k, and korean vibes. Came here to try their tiramisu drink but sadly not available. So I just ordered ice cafe latte. The taste for coffee is quite ok for me. Quite coffee shop and I like it.

Surprisingly nice place tucked in in a small pathway around Cideng! It's gonna be a bit tough getting here with a car even with some roadside parking, i recommend parking somewhere near and going here with other transport or order them online. I tried most of the menu, and so far, everything has been great! Definitely worth a try
